About Us
An Overview.
To put it simply Workplace Angels consist of three main areas of challenge, separate but simultaneously combined. They are training & development, recruitment and community development. All three share the common goals of social equity, diversity and inclusiveness. We offer a seamless package of services that inter-link and provide clear training/development pathways for an individual, community, organisation and/or business.
As is within the internal structure of Angels Across Australia, the important roles of linkage and networking feature highly in the delivery of our services. It is our intention to create and maintain a dialogue amongst the various sectors of the community: be that governance, industry, education, cultural, or social welfare. Through our services of facilitating this dialogue it is expected that, for example:
- The many gaps that appear in the journey from unemployment through to training and job placement can filled.
- The pathways for disadvantaged groups such as indigenous Australians, refugees, migrants, the disabled and the homeless are identified and enacted upon.
- Opportunities for community based training and development re identified and enacted upon.
- Mentorship programs targeted across all sectors of the community are facilitated, and by doing so a rich and rewarding experience for participants is provided.
- An up-front assessment model in the designing and delivery of training programs, wether that be targeted for the individual or group, is fostered and employed.
- By providing administration services the journey that is associated with such training initiatives as New Apprenticeships, Traineeships and other various government incentives is alleviated.
